Greek plane with supplies, firefighters lands at IAF base

A plane loaded with firefighters and fire suppression supplies from Greece landed early Friday morning at the Israel Air Force base in Ramat David, the IDF Spokesperson reported.

The fire crews are expected to join Israeli fire crews battling the uncontrolled fire in the Carmel region in the North.The plane is the first of a number of aircraft expected to arrive in Israel on Friday including crafts from Spain, Turkey and Cypress.
