Haifa court convicts man of murder after he killed wife

The Haifa District Court on Sunday convicted 40-year-old Vladimir Zakharov, from Pardes Hanna, of murdering his wife after he stabbed her and banged her head several times.
During the trial, Zakharov claimed that he did not plan the act, but he killed her after she mocked him and revealed that she was cheating on him.
However, the judges ruled that the defendant was suspicious of his wife before the act and killed her in cold blood.
After the murder, Zakharov tried to commit suicide.
