Labor MK Isaac "Buji" Herzog denied on Wednesday his defaming comments of fellow labor MK Amir Peretz, Israel Radio reported. Herzog was reported to have called Peretz "aggressive, inexperienced, and Moroccan."
Herzog told Israel Radio that he never would say such things, adding that he would call Peretz later Wednesday to clarify the accusation.
The Labor MK also said that the allegations of his slander would not affect his standing for becoming the new faction head, and said he did not plan to cancel his bid for the job.
