The IAF struck a weapons manufacturing site in central Gaza, two tunnels associated with terrorist activity in northern Gaza and a tunnel in the southern part of the Strip on Monday night, the IDF Spokesman's Office said in a statement.

IAF aircraft recorded direct hits on its targets.

According to the statement, the raid comes in response to rockets and mortar shells fired into Israeli territory from Gaza in recent days.

The IDF reiterated in the statement that it holds Hamas responsible for all terror activity emanating from Gaza and it will continue to respond forcefully to attacks on Israeli citizens.
