The IDF was preparing on Saturday evening to send an Israel Air Force plane to Turkey with medical crews on board to return injured Israelis home, following the Istanbul suicide bomb attack.

Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon said Israel, "which is combating terrorism that strives to harm its citizens not only within its borders, but everywhere, is a full partner to this global fight against terror, and helps with knowledge, intelligence, and other fields." Terrorism has become a worldwide threat, as the Istanbul attack showed, Ya'alon said, adding that "it forms a most significant threat to the West and its civilians."
