IDF arrests 14 security suspects in West Bank raids

IDF units arrested 14 Palestinian security suspects in raids across the West Bank overnight between Wednesday and Thursday. Three men suspected of taking part in unorganized violence against civilians and security forces were arrested in villages around Ramallah. Three Hamas members and a fourth suspect were arrested in the village of Na'ama, northwest of Ramallah.
Soldiers took three men into custody in Al-Aroub, southwest of Bethlehem.
In Samoa, south of Hebron, soldiers from the 605th Battalion of the 188th Armored Brigade arrested five suspects and seized weapons.
Earlier, a Border Police unit called in IDF scouts after finding a suspicious item in Hebron. The scouts confirmed that the item was a pipe bomb planted in the area. Israel Police bomb squad unit members destroyed the bomb in a controlled explosion.
