The IDF on Thursday dispatched a number of companies from the Navy, Golani and Kfir Brigades training bases to the Carmel Mountains to assist in the evacuations in the Carmel region due to the fire that that was spreading.

In addition, the IDF also allocated dozens of drivers, bulldozers, water trucks, cranes and tractors to assist the fire fighters in their efforts to extinguish the fire.
