IMA authorizes Eidelman to sign agreement with Treasury

The Israel Medical Association secretariat on Wednesday authorized chairman Dr. Leonid Eidelman to sign the agreement reached with the Treasury earlier in the day that could potentially end the 158-day-old doctors' work dispute.
Doctors and medical interns in Haifa and Tel Aviv protested the potential agreement, that they claim they did not have enough input in, as the Fiance Ministry and the IMA worked out the small details of the final agreement.
The cost of the agreement was estimated to be some NIS two billion.
