Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman said Friday that Iran is the biggest threat to world peace, Israel Radio reported.

Visiting China for high level meetings, Liberman added that Israel reserves the right to defend itself against the Iranian threat.

The foreign minister also stated that China is an important player in the negotiations over the Iranian nuclear program.

Liberman's visit to China commemorates 20 years of Sino-Israeli ties. In Beijing he will meet with Chinese top Communist Party officials and Israeli businessmen.
