A 20-year-old Israeli Arab man died after being stabbed to death by a Palestinian man while he was at work in east Jerusalem on Monday afternoon, police announced.

From initial investigations, police believe the Palestinian man from the West Bank had an ongoing conflict with the victim. The suspect arrived at the victim's work on Monday and stabbed him.

Paramedics evacuated the victim in critical condition to Shaare Tzedek Medical Center, where he later died of his wounds.

The suspect fled the scene, though was quickly caught by border police at the checkpoint near the Arnon HaNatziv neighborhood of Jerusalem and taken for questioning.
