Israeli Arab supreme court justice: Inequality exists in population

Supreme Court Justice Salim Jubran on late Wednesday said inequality exists between Israel's Jewish and Arab citizens despite the state's declaration of establishment that proclaims the equality of all the country's inhabitants "irrespective of religion."

Israel Radio cited Jubran as saying there are gaps between Jews and Arabs in the sectors of education, employment and the allocation of land for infrastructure and the construction of residential areas and industrial zones.
