A car crashed into a tree in Te Anau, New Zealand on Saturday, killing a 61-year-old Israeli woman The New Zealand Herald reported.

According to the Herald, the rental car reportedly left the road and collided with a tree.

Paramedics evacuated the driver of the car and another passenger to Invercargill Hospital by helicopter and ambulance. Their injuries are yet to be confirmed, the Herald reported.
