Jerusalem judge extends remand for 2 suspected Palestinian terrorists

A Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court judge on Wednesday extended the remand for two 17-year-old Palestinians from Silwan accused of throwing firebombs at private security officers patrolling the volatile neighborhood last month and igniting one of their vehicles on fire.
None of the guards were wounded in the attack, which police said was carried out on the night of November 29. Both suspects were arrested two weeks later after a forensics team linked them to the crime.
Since their arraignment, the judge overseeing the case continues to extend their remands pending an ongoing investigation into other suspected terrorist activities.
