A Jewish 10-month-old baby boy is in light-to-moderate condition after being struck by a rock thrown by an Arab assailant in the Old City Saturday night.
According to police, at approximately 7 p.m. rocks were thrown from the windows of various Arab homes at the child and his parents, who were not injured in the attack.
The child has since been transferred to Hadassah University Medical Center, where he remains under observation. A police spokesman said officers have opened an investigation in the area where the attack took place and are questioning suspects and reviewing surveillance footage.
