Ahead of the anticipated influx of pilgrims and tourists to Jerusalem's Old City over Passover, the municipality will be providing free transportation to and from the Western Wall and various free parking lots in the city next Wednesday and Thursday, the first intermediate days of the holiday.

While vehicles of non-residents are barred from entering the Old City yearlong, the municipality on Monday issued a reminder that busses and vehicles won't be allowed into the narrow streets, while providing a solution for Israelis who plan on arriving in the capital during the holiday.

Passover is one of three times in the year in which Jews made pilgrimages Jerusalem. The Egged bus lines to the Western Wall and Old City will also be reinforced during those days. More details about the parking and bussing arrangements are available on the municipality's website.
