Roughly one fifth of eligible voters cast their ballots in the race between Shaul Mofaz and Tzipi Livni to score top spot in the Kadima primary on Tuesday.
By 6:00 p.m., just four hours before polls closed, some 20 percent of voters had arrived at polling stations nationwide, according to the Kadima spokesperson, in an election turnout many described as underwhelming.
There are 95,000 eligible voters.
