Katsav to get leave from prison to attend son's wedding

Former president Moshe Katsav, serving seven years for a rape conviction, was scheduled to leave Ma'asiyahu Prison in Ramle for the first time since beginning his sentence in December, in order to attend the wedding of his son Noam on Sunday .

Katsav was scheduled to leave the prison at 5 p.m. He will be able to attend the wedding only, and will not be allowed to visit his home in Kiryat Malachi.

The former president must return to the prison by midnight on Sunday.
