The Knesset held a special session Tuesday in memory of 9 years since the assassination of former Minister of Tourism Rehavam Zeevi (Gandhi).

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, speaking at the session, said Gandi's love for Israel was not political, but stemmed from his education and knowledge of Jewish history.

Netanyahu added that Gandhi's image is engraved in the hearts of the people, and his legacy is alive and well.
