Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman told reporters Monday after he recommended to President Reuven Rivlin that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu be tasked to form the government,  that coalition negotiations must first result in an agreement on basic guidelines and only afterward can there be a discussion on portfolios.

"We know that we can't get everything we want, but it's critical for us to know what we can get," Liberman stated.
