Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, who is visiting Bosnia, said Saturday following a barrage of rockets that hit southern Israel: "We are not seeking confrontation with the Palestinians."

"We don't want an escalation of the situation," he said. "But will not accept barrage after barrage without a response.""I hope this evening, with the help of neighboring countries, the international community and the Palestinian Authority, that the rocket fire will stop," he said. "Otherwise there will be consequences in the coming days."
