Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman's attorney warned on Sunday that his client may press charges against the AP news agency and Israel Defense news site for libel, Army Radio reported.

According to Army Radio, the newswire and news site published reports claiming former prime minister Ehud Olmert refused to grant Lieberman full access to classified information and denied him the appropriate security clearance when he served as the minister for strategic affairs.

"The reports are nonsense and it is for a good reason Olmert also denied them," Lieberman's attorney said.
