Likud demands to investigate Barak, ‘millions for what?’

Likud demands Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit begin an immediate investigation into how leader of Israeli Democratic Party Ehud Barak was paid $ 2.3 million, and for what.

Barak, who does not deny he was paid this money by the Wexner Foundation, claims he doesn’t need to say why he was paid as in 2004 he was a private citizen.

The Likud letter urges him to reveal what “research” he did for which he earned such a sum.

The letter requests the AG follow the example he set with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, according to which people who are running for office own the public ‘a complete picture’ of who they are, and demand explanations from Barak.
