The international community must continue the implementation of new sanctions against Iran and add to them sanctions targeted against the regime leaders in Tehran, Opposition Leader Tzipi Livni said Wednesday in a meeting with German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle.

"There is no justification to continue providing platforms for Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and the leaders of the regime to spread their extreme teachings to the West as well," said Livni

"As long as Iran continues to support terrorism, continues it military nuclear policy, and preaches against the existence of Israel, we must not allow it world platforms," she added.

She also stated that there is no substitute for the intensification of sanctions and clear statements and actions of Western leaders against the Iranian regime.
