Union of Local Authorities chairman Shlomo Buhbut criticized as untenable the agreement reached between the Histadrut Labor Federation and Finance Ministry to end the general strike Sunday morning. Local authorities, he said, would need over one billion shekels in order to implement the agreement.

"It is a shame that they did not include the Local Authorities - the largest employer in the economy - in negotiations," Army Radio cited Buhbut as saying.
