Los Angeles commuter train slams into vehicle on track, no immediate reports of injuries

A Los Angeles commuter train crashed into a vehicle on the tracks during the early morning rush hour on Friday, but there were no reports of injuries, a spokesman for Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.
The accident, which involved a train operated by Metrolink, occurred in Santa Fe Springs, about 13 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles.
