Lufthansa announces resumption of flights to Israel

Lufthansa, Germany's flag carrier, announced late Thursday a resumption of flights to Tel Aviv, following months of cancelled flights and limited international travel due to the coronavirus pandemic, according to a Mako news report. 
The company will operate six weekly flights from Frankfurt and Munich to Tel Aviv, beginning as early as June in a limited manner. 
Austrian Airlines, which belongs to Lufthansa, has not officially released a statement on returning to flight operations.
