Labor MK Binyamin Eliezer was conscious over the weekend and on Sunday after doctors at Assaf Harofeh Medical Center were able to disconnect him from the respirator and halt general anesthesia.

The hospital, which has been treating him for pneumonia that he developed over 10 days ago, did not say when the 75-year-old MK and former minister would be discharged. But it said his condition now is much improved compared to the way it was a week ago.
