Former Education Minister and current 'renegade' Labor MK Yuli Tamir has submitted her resignation from the Knesset Sunday. The resignation will come into effect Tuesday.

Former Minister Raleb Raleb Majadla will take her place in the Labor party ranks.

Tamir is expected to be appointed president of Shenkar college of engineering and design.
