Ma'ariv newspaper employees will hold an emergency meeting Sunday morning, Israel Radio reported Friday.
Following an announcement last month, only one-third received their salary, with the remaining amount to be paid later.
In a letter, Ma'ariv union workers wrote: "In the absence of a solution to the external economic crisis, Ma'ariv is expected to close conclusively at the end of the month."
