A construction worker was stabbed in the shoulder in Herzliya on Monday in what police are investigating as a possible nationalistically-motivated hate crime.

The victim told police that a Jewish man with a Russian accent approached him, shouting "death to Arabs," before stabbing him.

Police were searching the area for the suspect, who fled the scene after having stabbed the victim.

MDA paramedics treated the approximately 28-year-old victim on the scene before transporting him to Meir Medical Center in Kfar Saba for further treatment.
