Man held over October shooting

A 40-year-old man from Shfaram was arrested by the Galillee police’s central unit Wednesday on suspicion of shooting two cousins dead last month. Fars and Salam Muhsein, both in their 30s, were killed in a drive-by shooting at the entrance to the Arab village of A’ablin in Galilee as they drove to their work place in nearby Kibbutz Yagur.
Police have refused to discuss the suspect’s possible motive at this stage in the investigation, saying only that a previous dispute existed between the parties. The two homicide victims had no criminal records or history of violence. The Acre Magistrate’s Court extended the suspect’s custody by five days.
