Meridor: Annex settlement blocks, no return to '67 lines

Deputy Prime Minister Dan Meridor said that Israel needs to present a clear political goal, the basis of which should be the creation of a demilitarized Palestinian state and the annexation of the settlement blocs to Israel, in an interview with Israel Radio on Thursday.

Meridor noted that the Palestinians were carrying out a new strategy to gain acceptance in the world and that Israel needs to present its own plan to counter it. He stressed that Israel would not freeze building in Jerusalem and would not agree to return to the 1967 armistice lines.
