French authorities on Wednesday brought the mother of a suspect in the Toulouse Jewish school shooting to his home in the city, where police were attempting to convince the man to surrender.

"She was asked to make contact with her son, to reason with him, but she did not want to, saying she had little influence on him," French Interior Minister Claude Gueant said to AFP.
