Over 40 cinemas nationwide are participating in Israel Cinema Day on October 23 in which all tickets to regular films will cost NIS 10 and tickets to 3D films will be NIS 14. The movie chains Yes Planet, Cinema City, Rav Hen, Lev, Globus and Globus Max are all participating, as are several other theaters. Some of the theaters will open at 11 a.m.

and viewers can watch movie after movie. Tickets can already be purchased via the theaters’ websites, and customers can buy as many tickets as they want.

Cinema Day was held for the first time in Israel last year and it ended up being very successful; over 150,000 cinephiles bought tickets. Cinema Day is sponsored by the Cinema Industry Association.
