Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with Jewish leaders in Hungary on Thursday, stressing that Jews across the world have the right to live in security.
The premier expressed his appreciation for the historical contribution of Hungarian Jewry to Israel and Zionism.
He also stated that he was confident that his visit would serve to strengthen ties between Israel and Hungarian Jewry, and praised the government in Budapest for its commitment to development for the the country's Jewish community.
