Netanyahu says he still stands behind Bar-Ilan speech

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu clarified on Monday evening that he still stands behind his Bar-Ilan speech, Channel 2 reported.
In the 2009 speech, Netanyahu accepted the two-state solution to the Palestinian conflict after campaigning on a platform of "economic peace."
Earlier Monday, Likud MK Tzipi Hotovely said that the speech was a tactical speech for the international community's benefit, and that the Likud party's platform does not support the two-state solution.
