The Israel Prison Service (IPS) has released a statement regarding the implementation of new measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus within prison facilities. Measures include that meetings between attorneys and prisoners will be held behind a screen; visits to prisoners will not be held; IPS staff members are not allowed to leave the country. Furthermore, the statement adds that two sections have been prepared for prisoners who would need to remain under quarantine.
