A Palestinian Authority official stated the IDF demolished an electricity grid, which lead to clashes with local residents, Palestinian news agency Ma'an reported.

Ghassan Daghlas told Ma'an that bulldozers destroyed an electricity grid in the area, cutting off power to dozens of residents.

He added that the IDF used riot dispersal methods including tear gas and sound grenades to disperse the villagers.
