PM visits Peres at hospital, expected to be released

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu visited President Shimon Peres at Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer on Saturday evening. Peres was recovering from hernia surgery that he underwent Friday.
Peres also received phone calls from Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and Egyptian Ambassador to Israel Yasser Rida who both wished him a speedy recovery.
The president was in good condition following the surgery and was expected to be released from the hospital on Sunday.
