Palestinian boy, 15, arrested for throwing rocks, paint at light rail

A 15-year-old Palestinian boy was arrested Monday morning for throwing rocks and paint at the Jerusalem light rail as it passed near the Arab village of Shuafat. A car on the train was lightly damaged, but none of the passengers were wounded, police said. The suspect was arrested at the scene and brought to Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court where he was arraigned.
Police continue to carefully monitor the light rail, which has repeatedly been the source of attacks since the terror wave began last October, as well as during previous times of Palestinian unrest.
