Police shot a Palestinian in the leg on Friday after he attacked an Israeli with a rock, hitting him in the head on Route 90 near the town of Tomer in the Bek'aat Hayarden region.

The Palestinian, who may have been trying to steal a weapon from the Israeli, was injured moderately and arrested.

The Israeli was being treated for moderate head wounds on the scene by MDA paramedics.
