Paraguay president diagnosed with cancer

Paraguayan President Fernando Lugo was diagnosed Friday with lymphoma, a form of cancer which his doctors said is treatable and appears to be in its early stages.

Lugo, 59, underwent minor surgery earlier this week to remove a gland from his groin area.
