Peres: Soccer is best bridge between Israelis, Palestinians

President Shimon Peres recommended a sport-based solution to the Middle-Eastern conflict in his address before the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) on Thursday.

He suggested that the best bridge between Israelis and Palestinians is soccer..

"Even in the most difficult of times there is a group of kids whoplay together, and that connection doesn't just stay on the field.Soccer is a very educational and communicative medium," said thepresident.
