Peres rejects Rosenstein's plea for clemency

President Shimon Peres has rejected a plea for clemency by crime czar
Zev Rosenstein, who prior to his incarceration in the United States
and later Israel, was known as public enemy number one. 

Rosdenstein masterminded mega distributions of Ectasy pills in the US, Israel and Europe and was sentenced to 17 years in prison. Two months ago he was permitted to leave prison under heavy guard to to attend the wedding of his son Shlomi.
