Peres to Spanish king: Arab peace process must continue

President Shimon Peres told Spanish King Juan Carlos that Israel must continue with peace negotiations with the Palestinians. He added that Israel cannot be sure that a pullout from the West Bank would not lead to the same types of attacks that resulted from the disengagement from Gaza.

In the president's meeting with Spanish king, set to mark the 25th anniversary of relations between the two countries, he also said that he would like to launch a joint business conference between businessmen from Israel and Spain.
