The Supreme Court on Thursday morning accepted a petition from the Association of Civil Rights in Israel (ACRI) against an IDF order preventing Palestinian travel on Route 354, southwest of Hebron. The court ruled that the order, which aimed to protect residents of a nearby West Bank settlement, was "disproportionate." The IDF must rescind the restriction, the court said, and find alternative ways to safeguard Jewish settlers in the area.
