A police investigation into a tragic bus accident which claimed the lives of at least six Palestinian children and a schoolteacher will continue into this week.

The Israeli Arab truck driver, whose vehicle collided head on with the bus north of Jerusalem, remains injured at the Hadassah hospital in Jerusalem in moderate to serious condition. Police are waiting for his condition to improve to question him.

"We will create a detailed report on the accident after we complete our investigation," a Judea and Samaria police spokeswoman said.
