Five illegal aliens attacked police during a routine patrol on Rechov Hatzanchanim in Givatayim on Sunday. The assault took place after police officers had requested to speak with the men.

After the officers arrested the five, it came to light that the perpetrators were in possession of counterfeit Israeli identity cards. Two of the policemen were lightly wounded during the incident and were evacuated to Tel Hashomer's Sheba Medical Center.
