Police released far-right activist Baruch Marzel on bail Monday after he was arrested Sunday night at the entrance to Kiryat Arba for evading summons requests.
Police questioned Marzel - a US-born national religious activist - over two charges of assault against Palestinians, and said that they were still investigating the instances.
Marzel had evaded separate summons requests over the cases, prompting a court to hand police an arrest warrant.
