A 35-year old woman in the late stages of her pregnancy was killed in the Mazkeret Batya area after a truck collided with a commercial vehicle she was in on Sunday, Army Radio reported.

Her husband, 44, was seriously injured and suffering from head injuries. He was sent to Kaplan Medical Center in Rehovot.

Early police investigations indicate that the truck hit the commercial vehicle while trying to pass it.
